I, Lou Mirras spent time there and having previous surgeries for hip replacement and rotator cuff procedures. My testimonial observance, I can honestly say, that the Physical and Occupational Department was the best I've ever had. Of course, what you put in is what you reap. This Physical and Occupational Department staff working on my hip and shoulder were so courteous and fun to work with that even if I was having a bad day they seemed to have a way to keep ALL patience and myself motivated and cheerful. Though Andrea and Darnella were my main therapist, those that filled in on their days off were just as dedicated and fun to work with as my 2 main therapist. I give this facility the highest rating possible. But, the only minor area they can improve on is the nursing aides. Maybe some re-training would bring this group to their highest potential. All in all I recommend this dedicated staff and facilities to everybody!!!

Great Rehab staff. I went over the weekend to visit my wife’s mother and I was extremely pleased to see how professional and kind the staff is. Andrea is one of the therapists and she has an amazing personality, she was very affectionate and knowledgeable! I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a short term Rehab.

I had a very pleasant experience at Meadowbrook Care Center. Nancy, Liz, Beth, Wendy, Joe, and the rest of the staff were excellent in helping me get better and improve my walking. They were very warm, caring, and tough. I am so thankful for all of their help, and I definitely recommend Meadowbrook Care Center to anyone in need of rehabilitation.

My 75 y.o mom was a patient here a few weeks ago and this place was very good. My mom is a Spanish speaker and this place has a wonderful Spanish speaking staff that really made her stay as pleasant as can be. She was in unit 1b Maribel and Natalia are 2 wonderful nurses who were always supportive and caring. there is even a male nurse Daniel who also was so nice to my mom and always spoke to her in Spanish and my mom loves him! the aides are good too I find the morning shift being a lot more caring and attentive than the night shift. The social worker Piedad is also a very nice and helpful. Therapy is beyond exceptional! I have never seen a better group of workers . Every single one of them have a smile on their face and always answering our concerns. My family was blessed to have Andrea, a lovely therapist who treated my mom with affection and kept communicating with me and my brother about mom's progress. When we went to visit my mom on the weekends Andrea is there and knows all my family by name, now that"s when you know people here really love what they do and do it well. Daniela is also another very nice therapist and she also tries so hard to communicate with my mom in Spanish. I am so grateful to everyone that helped my mom in her recovery. I will refer anyone who needs therapy to go to Meadowbrook. Thank You all for helping my mom and making her stay so beneficial. Mi mama estuvo en este lugar y lo recomiendo. La gente que trabaja aquí es muy buena y muchas de las enfermeras hablan español. Mi mama estuvo bajo el mejor cuidado en terapia tuvo a Andrea que es una muchacha Ecuatoriana preciosa que trata a los pacientes con mucho amor y respeto, ella se asegura de llamar a la familia para reportar el avance de mi madre y demuestra mucho conocimiento. Otra de las terapistas de Daniela que a pesar de no ser hispana habla perfecto el español y también es una trabajadora excelente. Estoy muy agradecida con este lugar ya que ayudaron mucho a mi mama y ella siempre habla cosas buenas de este lugar. Si su familia necesita un Nursing Home este es el lugar adecuado y lo mejor es que mucha de nuestra gente trabaja en este lugar y dan una atención de primera.

I was a rehabilitation patient and came to Meadowbrook after many months in hospitals. I was still totally paralyzed from the neck down by a rare autoimmune nerve disease. At Meadowbrook I found dedicated nurses and staff, a positive atmosphere and terrific occupational and physical therapy. In fact, I credit Scott Schwartz, my physical therapist, with my ability to walk. He worked me endlessly but with great caring and know-how that got the job done. Meadowbrook Care Center lives up to its name!

We recently transferred my grandfather from a facility in Lynbrook to Meadowbrook. We are very happy that He is now receiving therapy 7 days a week, which a lot of other facilities don't offer. We see a big improvement in him and hopefully we can take him home soon. This place has a nice parking lot and is wheelchair accessible. The only reason I give a 4 star is because of the food. I wish there were more options especially for picky eaters like my grandpa other than that this place is very good

My best friend is currently a patient at Meadowbrook Care Center. I am extremely pleased with the place. This facility is clean and staff always helpful. Therapy got my friend to walk again! They go above and beyond to accommodate to my friends needs. I highly recommend this facility for the warm and caring staff (especially Therapy)

My mom is here I come and my dad my mom has been here 39 days the staff is nice you ask to change her diaper and they will the food is fine the people are friendly

Soups can't be beat staff also
