This place changed my sons life! The counselors and the entire staff were extraordinary people. My son went in deep into his addiction. We as a family were broken. 28 day later we picked my son up and he was clean for this first time in years. His mind and body were so healthy. Went from Talbot house to CK Post. First time in any kind of program after waaaay too many years of abusing drugs,drinks and my body. CK gave me a great start to the process of becomming a functioning human being again. Met some great people who are still in my life. The staff were helpful and provided enough guidance and encouragment for me to begin to get my life together. You gotta deal with the rules of the house. But the staff tries to make it as bearable as possible There are groups thru the day and they bring in AA, NA, and CA for you to decide which fellowship you are most comfortable with. The place is old and decrepit. I call it lovingly the Brokedown Palace (Deadheads can relate =P) But it did what I needed for it to do for me............................If you read this far you are taking the first steps to telling the addiction demons to get lost! Update: 10/18/17 Just celebrated 1 year clean and sober 😱 U can do it too!!! It ain't easy but my worst day now is waaaay better than my best day using 🙃

Loved this program. Caring staff & counselors. It was fun while teaching the tools needed to keep clean. I needed more time after detox in a safe place away from everything. I really can't say enough about post- I REALLY, REALLY liked it. They keep you busy with groups and activities. If you need help give CK Post a try. They gave me my life back!

I was at rock bottom in the year 2000 when my brother dropped me off the facility. I had been through 2 other "country club" facilities with NO lasting help. My brother had also been to C.K. Post so I was willing to try anything. When I arrived I thought that I was never going to see the outside world again but when I met the staff and saw the dedication and time they put in to their cause I was transformed. I let go and let God as the expression goes. With the help of these dedicated people I have been able to stay sober since. I owe 17 years of sobriety to them. My relationship with my friends and most importantly my kids is better than ever. They taught me that sobriety is a lifelong process and that there is Life after addiction. Ya gotta wnt it. Thank you all for my second Life.

I attended ck post they were very professional and took very good care of me I love that place thank you 4 year's sober .
